This week, flags point out 200 poops along a popular trail in Colorado, and a tandem bicycle, pictured right, that will carry my partner, Gene, and me through Central America.

Did Gene drop in to the skate park after this shot?
I wanted to, but there are so few scratches on the bike (and my hips), Meredith talked me down and I decided not to. Besides, getting air with a trailer would be pretty challenging.
